The only part of the film that didn't work for me, and a lot of sci fi films do this, is where they need to go from point A to point B, but unfortunately someone bad is in their way......Don't they realise that in space they can move along all 3 axis? I found the film very funny, well made and emotionally charged, but if you hadn't seen the TV series you might not be as connected to the characters as I was. Seriously though, I really liked Serenity for the most part, and loved the TV series.
