I am actually supposed to be doing some work at the moment, but as usual I need a diversion. You are probably in the same situation yourself – why else would you be reading this page?

I figure if you are going to be diverted, why not be diverted by a master? This magic trick is very diverting indeed, so diverting that it made me doubt that my eyes were working.

Then I watched the second half of the video and realized that it was my brain that was defective.

  1. I have no problem in the fact that I missed the other colour changes (I noticed the background) but how the hell did he change the colour of the cards!

  2. You did better than I did. He swaps out the original pack of cards at the 2:26 mark – the camera operator is doing a sterling job of obscuring what is really going on.
    I am not exactly sure what part the gorilla plays in any of this.

  4. Cute. I noticed the table and backdrop, but certainly not the shirts. Even the second time round I don’t really registerd those changes.
