Flash is a bloated piece of rubbish. Also, wasn't it up until recently that it was totally software rendered? That is stupid. I know it came from artists who wanted subpixel rendering and automatic anti-aliasing of their lines, but man, it kills the speed. I don't miss not having it on the iPhone at all. There was a time when it annoyed me on the Wii browser, but I have found I go to less and less flash sites. And if I really want to go to one, I do it on my Quad Core i7 iMac. I find that can hit about 15fps quite nicely :) Good article.
